Photographer Trish Reda has made a career out of doing what she loves; using her unique sense of style to create images that tell a story about her subjects. Her approach to photography is much as it is toward life; relaxed and with a sense of humor.

Working primarily on location in black and white, Trish takes her time during her photo shoots. Her uncommon ability to connect with her little subjects, combined with her relaxed approach, results in wonderfully sincere and honest images.

Trish resides just outside of Los Angeles, and her work takes her all over Southern California. She is also available for travel within the U.S. and abroad. Please call for further details.

Objective
It is Trish's specialty to capture images of children in a natural, relaxed and joyful atmosphere. She understands that the expressions of your child are infinite. With every session her goal is to capture a composite of expressions which will reveal a bit of your child's individuality.
The session
Trish does not like to put a time limit on her sessions. Although she takes her time, generally her sessions last about 1-2 hours. The choice in location is important. The most important factor in a location is that it is a place where your child feels free, happy and relaxed. This is one of the many reasons why she prefers clients' homes. While it is important to choose a time of the day that your child is happiest, keep in mind that for an outdoor session, early morning light or late afternoon sun is best.

Appearance
Remember the focus of the shoot is your child. Logos and busy patterns should be avoided as they are distracting, please avoid white if at all possible. Bare feet are always preferred over shoes. For babies under the age of 18 months, there is nothing better than their birthday suits. Please refrain from flamboyant bows, ribbons & barrettes. Remember that a relaxed photo shoot is a successful one.

Following the session
Your proofs will be ready 3 weeks after your shoot. An appointment will be scheduled prior to their completion for you to view them. It is at this viewing presentation that all orders are made. Trish welcomes anyone who you think may want to order prints to be present at this viewing. Due to storage issues, digital negatives are kept for 1 year and then purged.

Payment Policies
Session fees start at $250. A $125 deposit is required to reserve your appointment. Thisdeposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards your session fee. You may drop your deposit off, mail it or pay by credit card online. An additonal fee applies for travel beyond 20 miles.

Cancellations
cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before your shoot. Please call before then so that your deposit can be applied towards another session date.
